Written in collaboration with the astronomer, Ida Janiak, for the anthology Firmament, published by Comma Press, which will come out in November 2026. All the stories are collaborations between astronomers connected with the Jodrell Bank observatory and writers. Ida proposed the astronomical scenario. It was very interesting working with her. She has a scientific mind, I have a mind that shoots off sideways.
